Sibella Giorello's The Stars Shine Bright (Thomas Nelson, 2012) has a lot going for it. The plot twists and turns enough to keep you guessing till the very end. The racetrack setting is really interesting and lends itself to lots of colorful peripheral characters. And, Agent Harmon's background in forensic geology adds some fascinating elements to the tale. Unfortunately, the story loses momentum a bit whenever it focuses on Harmon's chaotic personal life, rather than the mystery at hand. Still, The Stars Shine Bright is a really entertaining read, and I would recommend it.

I do love a mystery! I'll have to check this one out! Enjoy your weekend, MJ!
Anything about horses and people is a good read. :)
I can't believe it's Friday.
Have a great week end :)
That sounds like a good one.
Sounds good, will check it out.
I'm reading a Tami Hoag book that reads a lot like this.
Who in the right mind kills horses unless it's a race horse. Whomever it is, that's nasty.
Sounds like a good book.
