Review: Over The Edge

Since surviving a fire in a cave when he was a boy, Seth Kincaid has been a little crazy.  Now that he has survived the horrors of the Civil War, Seth Kincaid is a lot crazy.  But, is he really crazy enough to have completely forgotten that he has a wife?

Mary Connealy's Over the Edge (Bethany House Publishers, 2012) is the third book in the Kincaid Brides series.  And, this is a for real series . . . meaning, you actually need to have read the other two books to fully enjoy this one.  I hadn't, so I found myself a little lost at times. Even so, I enjoyed Connealy's writing style tremendously.  The characters are hilarious and memorable, and the whole book has a zany feel that is really entertaining.  If you're looking for a "romantic comedy with cowboys," Over the Edge is definitely worth a look . . . just read the other two books first!

Is this like, "save a horse, ride a cowboy"? ;)

Sounds fun! - the book I mean!

LOL @ Pat. I'm looking at that model for the cover shot, and I think he might like a cowboy, too. Just sayin'.

Is it just me or does the man on the cover look like a young John Travolta?

Although it's not my type of book, I do like funny, so maybe I'll check it out...
