Nancy Mehl's Inescapable (Bethany House Publishers, 2012) is a fun mystery romance that makes the most of its unusual setting (a small Mennonite town). The mystery aspect of the plot is really well done; Mehl kept me guessing. In the beginning, Lizzie is a little whiny, but she grows as a character as the story progresses. Overall, Inescapable is an entertaining read, and I recommend it to for fans of Christian fiction.

Loving the sound of this and as for that quilt - what an amazing giveaway.
You said the C word and scared me away.
Thats a pretty quilt and the book sounds quite horrible for this young woman.
Sounded interesting until I got to the part about Christian literature. Sorry, but that's not my religion. The quilt, however, is pretty. Thanks for your visit.
