Last week, scientists announced that they had discovered the
God particle. As I understand it, the God particle is what creates a sticky field that allows subatomic particles to come together and acquire mass. The God particle holds the universe together.
And all of these years, I thought it was duct tape.

It's probably the same thing. Watch out, next week those scientists will probably discover the fried egg, or something. Clyde Crashcup lives!
oh my....that is going to hurt coming off....
hummmm.... interesting.
LOL
No skin will be left when that comes off haha
You're a step ahead of the scientists. The God Particle only proves that the sticky field exists. What do you think the sticky field is?!!
Suddenly everything is so much clearer to me.
What a sticky mess! whew-
Ooops that could smart! My world has been sticky for years!!
So, what makes the duct tape?
LOL! (and thanks for the easy explanation of the God particle. i tried to read those reports and couldn't make sense of them!)
What's better than one roll of duct tape?

Two rolls of duct tape!
i didn't know it was duck tape, but i knew it was RED!
And, scientist's have been known to be wrong, too. It may well be duct tape ;)
I thought it was elephant tape.
Too funny. Actually, I've been waiting for the Executive Summary on this discovery! Now I don't have to feel guilty about not reading the other articles since you covered it in 10 words or so ;>)
MZ...
Friday 13th
The return of FF55.
In case you feel inspired

Thanks for clearing that up, MZ.
(Clyde Crashcup! Haven't thought of him in years!)
Hee -- no matter the question, duck tape is always the answer. :)
Not only are we made of star stuff, we're also made of Higgs Boson. ...and duct tape.
Molasses and Duct Tape! Sounds like some terrible pancake. k.
Yup.
Like they said
The God particle lol
I think Darth Vader just found the force
Haha! Love that.
God particle. Sticky. So the universe is stuck together? :)
• God particle
• Duct tape
• Take your pick
(I'll take God particle; you take what's your choice. I don't think the Higgs boson cares one way or the other what it is called.)
Hopped over from Babs blog.
Gorilla glue is more likely.

the 'huh' particle? really? had to look that up and found this link that says it was originally called the 'God Damn Particle' but the author was convinced (by publishers) to make the term more 'user friendly.' AKA also called 'invisible molasses with particles with different levels of stickiness." Sounds so scientific http://www.aspenideas.org/session/god-particle
