That's awesome! Our local San Diego Wild Animal Park just completed a new exhibit featuring these guys. They're pretty fun to watch as they curl up with each other while hanging upside down.
Isn't that something? I wonder if any one ever holds them that big? I bet they do. People worry about them landing in your hair but they are supposed to have some kind of radar not to do that arent they? Some look like little chihuahuas. So cute.

oh now that is really cool....so he is hanging out at your place?
Does he also say "TA-DA!" when he's done? Now that would be even MORE impressive! Ha ha!

fascinating creatures. until they land in your hair.

I love his little feet holding on
Just amazing pictures! I haven't seen bats around my place for a while. I might have to put up some bat houses.
I remember these guys from the Seychelles Islands, but didn't manage to take one single shot of them... :-)
Amazing and really cool captures, MZ!!
Awesome hanging critters, but I'm afraid of them.
Beautiful photos. Very good catch, I like those bats. Greetings.
great catches.....all bats are so bizarre in every way....
Very striking, batman!
Looks like a bat to me. Just make sure it doesn't have a lot of friends like in Jumanji.

I can't believe the amazing orange contrast on this little guy! There is something quite freaky yet fascinating about the flying fox shape!
Nice captures!
