My hubby can sleep anywhere and anytime. And I can sit and watch him, sadly getting no sleep. I wish the 4th of July was not in the middle of the week, I do not feel like going to work tomorrow. Sorry about your doggie, I hope it recovers quickly. I wish you and yours a HAPPY 4th of July!
happy 4th! no fireworks here...too dry...we might burn ourselves up if we tried...
Top of my own list would be freaking fireworks, which have been every night for almost a month already, and took it up a notch last night, booming away until 3am. I would cheerfully kill the next a**hole with a cherry bomb.
I hate when people ask me to do stuff! Sure glad I never asked you to...oh wait, I did. Shit! :-P
Oh well. Here's a little trick my old grammaw taught me. She sat me down on the porch rocker, took my little hand in both of hers, and told me, "Shay, there is no problem you'll ever have in life that one loaded revolver can't solve." Then we baked cookies. Good old grammaw!

Two things that Florida has going for it right now is temps in the high 80s, and free windshield replacement with our auto insurance.

You only have ten? I have ten every day! When it comes to mid-week holidays I feel the same about Thanksgiving, (I usually work the following Friday)and about Superbowl Sunday. (Wouldn't a Saturday night game make for a better party?)
You did make me laugh this morning! But at this stage of the game, the day of of any holiday doesn't make a lot of difference as most of the old birds here celebrate any day they can still get up!! Happy 4th anyway!!
